How to join Hilperton CE Primary School

We warmly welcome visits from prospective families. As a Voluntary Controlled (VC) school in Wiltshire, the Local Authority (Wiltshire Council) is the admitting authority which can offer a place at Hilperton CE Primary School. The Headteacher and staff are always happy to show families around our school, but the official offer of a place remains with the Council.

Every local authority-maintained school has a pupil admission number (PAN) which sets a limit to how many children the school is obliged to admit into its reception class each year. It is often used a broad indicator of year group size for other year groups. Currently our PAN is 25.

We follow the Wiltshire admissions process. All parents who live in Wiltshire will need to apply for their child to attend a primary or secondary school. You can do this online by following this link (click here to apply online).

The deadline for secondary school applications is 31st October 2025.

The deadline for primary school applications is 15th January 2026.
